Attitude in one's life is set by the way in which everyday scenes are viewed. Often the scene itself creates serenity. I like sitting in my sunroom and looking out at the thriving plants in my back yard. Douglas Fir, Colorado Spruce, Lodgepole Pine, Red Cedar, Sequoia, and Ponderosa Pines are the Evergreen trees that grow in my backyard. English Walnuts, Black Walnut, Cherry, and other bushes flower in season. They drop their leaves in autumn with skeletons reaching toward the wide blue sky. To gaze upon my plants brings me peaceful feelings. But I learned of the way nature developed from simple cells to complex ones, Humans being very complex. I love all orders of plants and in my desert area those require constant watering. Trees most of all. As I also have need for water - to drink, to bathe, to play.
