Devils Tower - Wyoming The 1st National Monument established 24 September 1906
The Grand Canyon - Arizona established national Monument 1908, designated National Park 1910
Crater Lake - Oregon established 22 May 1902
The National Park System is unique to the United States of America. Be aware that you, as every American, holds title to the magnificent places that are OUR National Parks. We invite you to learn about - even if you never visit - the natural wonders that are contained within this great nation. We would like to guide you through some of those places. Sometimes the experience can overload your senses so we will not throw everything at you. Just bits and pieces we know about from our visits. It is our hope it will lead you to see for yourself why these places are legend.
