Today Tinsley/Mallard tells Chinese contributors to
Allow for current exchange rates.

Today the master "conservative journalist," Mallard Fillmore is again sitting in his chair watching TV (He seems to do THAT a lot more than he ever goes out and investigates anything.)   The TV tells Mallard that $30 per day will really put a smile on our the President's face.   But in an obvious racial insult, Chinese contributors are cautioned to "allow for the current exchange rates."

Some racists might claim that Chinese people are dumb and lazy.   But let me say that every person of Chinese ancestory that I have ever met has been intelligent, articulate and hard-working.   And while proud of their heritage, all the people I have had the pleasure of knowing were very patriotic.

I'm sure that Americans of Chinese descent, like any other American, would not hesitate to do their part for their country.   And if they thought that meant supporting OUR President by protecting him from attacks by people who HATE HIM, they would be smart enough to convert foriegn currency at the proper rate.

What the duck's TV is actually trying to intone is that the President was influenced by contributions from a foreign government. In reality, the Democratic party has tried to accept lawful contributions from all American citizens.   Any time those contributions were suspected of coming from improper sources, THEY WERE RETURNED (just as the Republican party does, I'm sure.)

If you're Chinese-American, or indeed any person of color, don't be too insulted by Mallard's TV.   Instead, be aware of how much YOU SCARE some of the right-wingers! They think "you people" are not "REAL Americans" and if YOU try to support someone, well, you must be acting as an agent for some foreign power.

Dan, why are you picking on this dim-witted duck anyway?
