More of the -duck's "survey-madness" today. Now the duck is in front of the TV cameras for WFDR (his employer) announcing that "93% of those polled in James Carville's home state of Louisiana... ...say they can't understand a word he says, either..."
Well at least the -duck isn't pretending to be concerned with improving public education. But I cannot say that making fun of how people speak is much of an improvement. But let's not fall into the right-wing trap of trying to force people to be politically correct.
If you want to make fun of Mr. Carville's elocution, that's OK. He's a public figure and we still have the right to poke fun at public figures. But why this public figure? And at this particular time?
Well, perhaps it's because the real problem that Mallard's "polled" friends in Louisiana have with Carville is that he is a friend and supporter of President Clinton? Nah, Mallard wouldn't stoop to making fun of how people speak just because he doesn't like their viewpoint. Would he?
