Today Tinsley/Mallard
Private screening of "Primary Colors"

Today the duck takes a much needed break from defending the American worker and dusts-off his old rant about Hillary and the right-wing efforts to undermine the office of the President.

The scene is a movie theater where the President, First Lady, and a dog (Buddy, perhaps?) are watching a private screening of the new John Travolta movie, "Primary Colors." President Clinton is supposedly thinking "John's too ugly; Emma's too pretty..." While Hillary is thinking "The vast right-wing conspiracy has even infiltrated Hollywood!" And not to be left out, Buddy is thinking "If I could type, I could be a millionaire."

Let us deal with this garbage in reverse order.

Why would Buddy need to learn how to type? Millie (the Bushs' dog) made a pile of money without having to type. And that was a girl dog, so Buddy should expect to make about 125% as much from his book.

Hollywood has been infiltrated? Just because they took a defamatory book and made it into a movie in an attempt to turn a profit that doesn't mean they're part of a conspiracy. Before you have a conspiracy you would need some really rich guy paying state troopers to suddenly "remember" performing as pimps and you would need an old spy to convince a bitter ex-whitehouse staffer to illegally tape-record conversations and you would need a.... Wait a minute, this sounds familiar.

John Travolta's too ugly??? Emma Thompson is too pretty??? That could only come from a duck that sits-up late at night watching some home shopping channel for the chance to buy a scrap of Monica Lewinsky's clothing. (As shown in the cartoon from 3/20/98.)

Dan, why are you picking on this dim-witted duck anyway?
