No Pet Goat

It doesn't make sense. I thought sleep was supposed to reenergize and refresh so I've been doing as much of it as I can. At least I did until I realized I no longer see my toes. (Not because my stomach is too big, but because they just don't interest me like they used to.)

Unfortunately it is hard to keep moving this time of year. Since it is cold and wet outside, I try to move around inside a lot more. A lot of that movement is back and forth to the kitchen.

I took up yoga a couple of weeks ago, and that really showed me how out of shape I am. How can breathing slowly make me so stiff?

As the groundhog will certainly tell us on Wednesday, there is six more weeks of winter coming. I can't take that much more sleep and indoor exercise. And I also notice that winter isn't stopping the grass from growing.

Since I don't have a pet goat to eat my grass short, I had better get strong enough to push that mower around next April.

It's my birthday lawnmower by the way. It sounded like such a good idea for a present back when the ground was covered with snow.
