When I tried to post my blog yesterday, my computer smugly informed me that February only had twenty eight days. So yesterday is dated today. I don't like to post more than one blog a day because it is confusing. Which I never like to do unintentionally. So this blog, is really the March 1 blog.

I had the stomach flu most of last week, so I didn't write anything. (BTW, thanks for the dog teasing link, Bob. It was just what I needed to lift my spirits.) But I did think of several clever blogs about cheap sheets, tea and toast, home remedies, and airline procedures attack on reason.

Unfortunately, I didn't write them down, so I'll never be able to look back and discover if those subjects really were interesting or just the ravings of a fevered mind.

As you would already know if yesterday's blog was dated properly, I felt well enough to go to the scholar's luncheon. Although my stomach was still sending me vague warnings, it didn't matter because the food wasn't good anyway. It is so obvious when a chef learns his trade in prison. Both our students admitted without being asked that they had never sat at a formally set table before. (see other March 1 blog.) Josh told me about the presentation he was preparing about photosynthesis and seemed genuinely surprised that I knew what that was. We had a great time talking.

Things are back to normal today.
