Going Plaid

This is really a two blog story since it starts about four years ago when Washington Mutual sold out one night to J P Morgan/Chase aka (JPM Chase) for a nickel a share, and JPM Chase opened the next morning worth a gazillion dollars. Last summer, as former stock holders, we began our paperwork odyssey.

On Monday we went to the Charles Schwab office in Lynnwood for information. I am still puzzled as to why the man who helped us didn't see anything unethical about what JPM Chase did. Although many stockholders will never recover what was stolen from them, this guy thought hey, somebody had to rescue WaMu. How else would they ever collect on those outstanding home loans?

So fast forward to this morning. No wait. Let me go farther back in time because I don't think I ever mentioned how much I hate office-work type chores. I don't like filing, copying, filling out forms, and especially, reading instructions. I once was doing volunteer work, and was asked to clean out a filing cabinet, which I thought meant throwing everything away. I guess I was supposed to look through and only throw some things away. They just didn't understand my skill set.

Fortunately Jerry is good at these things, but needs me for my legible handwriting. So this morning we were filling out another set of legal documents, and I swear, my ears closed and my brain went plaid. Although this probably reminds you of the movie “Space Balls” I am not being facetious. I saw plaid and words couldn't get past the plaid plugging my ears.

Okay, now I forgot what part two of the blog was. We got one class action suit claim filed, but we have set aside the paperwork until tomorrow. I think for the next twenty hours I will refuse to think about it.
